- ✓Identity verified. Photographic ID of the business owner checked against company records.
- ✓Insurance confirmed. Current public liability insurance documentation seen and verified.
- ✓Reviews verified. Customer reviews checked on independent platforms; ratings consolidated into the Expert Roofer score.
- ✓10+ years of experience. A decade or more of roofing experience, evidenced and verified.

Scheme FAQs
About the Verified scheme
Expert Roofer Verified is a vetting scheme run by Expert Roofers. Each member's profile shows the current status of its verification checks. Completed checks are marked verified; outstanding checks are marked check in progress. A directory listing does not mean every check has passed. Members are re-checked annually.
The rating consolidates each member's verified customer reviews from independent platforms such as Google, Checkatrade and TrustATrader into a single score out of five, weighted by review count. New members without an established review history are shown as rating pending rather than being given an unearned score.
Use the search box on this page to search by town, city or county. Each verified member's profile lists the exact areas they cover, their verified reviews and rating, and a direct link to their website. If no member covers your area yet, the free quote service still matches you with vetted local roofers UK-wide.
